Andrew Engineering Limited is a supplier of energy efficient solutions, based in Chesterfield and established in 1981.
The business had been successfully marketed online for many years, but the “static” nature of their Website had more recently led to a marked decrease in enquiries. After an initial investigation their previously effective web presence was found to be not mobile friendly, so the time had come for an all-new Website.
The Website
In the case of this particular project, the client was still happy with the long-established straightforward presentation and general style. Their existing branding was also to be utilised & remastered, if possible.
After the initial project meeting I was tasked with thoroughly modernising the entire Website, from the ground up. Mobile-friendliness was mutually deemed a top priority, so WordPress was selected at an early stage of development to meet this requirement.
As a replacement for an old Website, it was also of vital importance that any existing search engine rankings were preserved and (in due course) further improved upon (top performing keywords were discussed with the client).
After my initial quotation and proposal were approved, the development process that followed went smoothly and the completed Website was relaunched in a matter of weeks.
