Studio Lydia Thornley is a London-based design, branding and illustration provider - founded by vastly experienced designer, Lydia Thornley
This all-new website replaces Lydia's existing (also WordPress) online base - and was reimagined and rebuilt from the ground up, in close and continuous consultation with the client herself.
Background & Brief
I was approached by Lydia about the prospect of me assisting with the redevelopment of her Website, following a successful project we collaborated on in the summer of 2018 (See: Ideas Foundation).
The new Website launch was to coincide with a progressive rebranding exercise for the venture (from "Lydia Thornley Design", to "Studio Lydia Thornley") - and as one might expect Lydia already had her redesigned logo ready and waiting - along with a clear, detailed plan for the comprehensive redeveloped Website. We discussed these ideas and also some technical issues with her existing Site (it pre-dating mobile friendly "responsive" design being the outright biggest of these). Following approval of my quotation the project got underway soon after.

The Finished Article
After several months of thorough and meticulous development (both the client and I are self-confessed, proud perfectionists..!) the completed Website launched in August, 2019.
Key priorities for the new Website were to introduce future-proof compatibility for mobile devices and also to showcase Lydia's broad range of areas of personal expertise. With that in mind, the "Work" section acts as a filterable portfolio area, with immediate access to projects ranging from graphic design, through to corporate branding and even live illustration assignments.
